Dr. Bierbaum received his Ph.D. in Communication from the University of Missouri, and was awarded the title Professor of Communication Studies Emeritus by the State University of New York in 1992. He is fully credentialed by both the American Institute of Parliamentarians (CPP-T) and the National Association of Parliamentarians (PRP). He is conveniently located for conventions held in southeast convention centers such as Orlando, Jacksonville, Miami, and Atlanta. He also travels widely, and has recently served conventions meeting in San Antonio, San Diego, Salt Lake City, and Baltimore.

In addition to his skills as a parliamentarian, Dr. Bierbaum utilizes his background in communication theory, group dynamics, and organizational communication to assist client organizations. He offers training sessions for officers, boards of directors, and members. His participatory workshops highlight real-life situations that may develop on the floor of a large convention.
